Photography – 2008

The body meets the world collecting sensations, textures, temperatures.
The hand covers the surface it touches, veiling the presented area while constantly migrating as a recurrent series of presence-absence, discussing what is not to see, showing the absence disguised as the same piece of flesh; pale, decaying, amorphic composing the scene while concealing the argument.

As a collection this one has the same fate of all, the incompleteness that rules all collections. Sensations are still being gathered while the finite veil of meat who cover the canvas to feel is available, before it disappear joining the natural support and closing the cycle.

Memento mori.
